Conscia presents reporting application for Cisco DNA Center

At Cisco Live, Cisco’s annual IT and communications conference in Orlando, Florida, Cisco Gold Partner Conscia, based in Denmark, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden, presents an application that derives customer-specific information from network devices using the Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs available in the Cisco DNA Center, which is the foundational controller and analytics platform at the heart of Cisco’s intent-based network architecture.

Port usage measurement in network switches is a tedious manual process that requires logging-in to each switch, issuing CLI commands, and then reading and interpreting the output data. The effort required can really add up in large networks that may have hundreds of switches. Moreover, to plot the port usage trend, this process needs to be repeated periodically. Conscia Reporting Application simplifies this process. Instead of connecting directly to the devices the Conscia Reporting Application will read the relevant information to monitor port usage, via the DNA centers API, and show the result in the administrator dashboard.

Conscia is presenting the Reporting Application for Cisco DNA Center at the Enterprise Networking Partner Village during Cisco Live.

“We are very excited about the invitation to showcase Conscia and our innovation at Cisco Live,” says Peter Arberg, CTO, Conscia. “Cisco DNA Center’s open APIs open up tremendous opportunities for outside developers to more closely align an enterprise’s network to its business requirements.”
