Beyond the AI headlines: What’s really changing in cybersecurity

Jan Bervar has spent 25 years in cybersecurity and is currently busy with securing the leading edge: advanced detection and response, cloud security, security automation, and security in the era of the Internet of Things (IoT). Using a “yes” security approach whenever possible, Jan provides organisations with an optimal, controlled-risk approach that enables them to try out new ideas, all while deploying common sense and robust countermeasures.

David Kasabji is a Principal Threat Intelligence Analyst at the Conscia Group. His main responsibility is to deliver actionable intelligence in different formats according to target audiences, ranging from Conscia’s own cyberdefense, all the way to the public media platforms. His work includes collecting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence, reverse engineering obtained malware samples, crafting TTPs based on acquired information, and publishing R&D content. David is also actively engaged in Digital Forensics and Incident Response activities and strategic crisis management during incidents.

Danijel Grah has over ten years of experience in cybersecurity. He began his career as a consultant before transitioning into research and later joined NIL (part of Conscia Group) as a Cyber Security Analyst in the Security Operations Center (SOC)/MDR. He eventually returned to Offensive Security and now serves as a Technical Lead. Danijel brings extensive expertise in penetration testing, security hardening, programming, consulting, and the development of cyber defense systems. He has published and presented research at various international information security conferences and has confirmed his knowledge and experience with industry certificates, such as GRID and GCFR.
