Vid Rupnik has five years of experience in cybersecurity. He began his career at NIL as a cybersecurity analyst, where he spent more than two years developing defensive capabilities within the SOC, covering incident detection, threat analysis, and response to security incidents.
In recent years, he has worked in the offensive security team as an offensive security consultant, participating in a wide range of security activities, including penetration testing, DDoS testing, social engineering, and related engagements. He has further validated his knowledge and experience through industry certifications such as GRPT and CPTS.
His combined experience in both defensive and offensive environments gives him a realistic perspective on how attackers operate, enables him to effectively emulate attack scenarios, and allows him to provide practical guidance on vulnerability remediation.
