Thomas Boele is Global Director, Solutions Engineering – AI Security at Check Point Software / Lakera, based in Munich. He leads the global solutions engineering team for Check Point’s newly formed AI Security pillar, building the technical go-to-market function for a category that barely existed two years ago.

With over 20 years of solutions engineering leadership across EMEA, Thomas has guided technical teams through several shifts in the security landscape — from network and cloud security to the current wave of AI-driven threats and AI-native attack surfaces. His focus today is on securing large language model applications and agentic systems: prompt injection, data exfiltration through AI interfaces, and the governance questions enterprises face when AI moves from pilot to production.

Thomas is an accredited press spokesperson and a regular keynote speaker on cybersecurity, known for cutting through vendor noise with a practitioner’s view of what actually works.
