Building Software with Securely Autonomous Agent Teams: From Tools to Teammates

See a real autonomous agent operation at scale and learn to govern it. This interactive session is for leaders and technically-curious professionals who want to understand — and make decisions about — AI agents running production software, without needing to write code. Through a candid before-and-after from two founders, a live look at real agent activity at scale, and a hands-on governance workshop, you’ll leave understanding how autonomous work actually flows through an engineering org, the two places a human must stay in control, and the boundaries you’d set for an agent joining your own team. You’ll walk out with a governance framework you authored yourself.

Intro: The First Recon AI team has been building SaaS and AI applications for the world’s largest enterprises since January 2020. As early adopters of every generation of agentic and LLM coding tools, they now run managed fleets of autonomous agents 24/7 across their engineering lifecycle. This session shares the honest version of that journey — what changed, what surprised them, and the top things they got wrong and had to fix — so leaders can form a realistic picture of what agentic engineering requires, where the risks sit, and how to govern it responsibly. Pro-AI, not naive: you’ll hear exactly where they keep a human in the loop, and why.

Target audience: IT, Security, App Dev, and Engineering Leaders; Product and Business leaders; anyone responsible for governing, adopting, or funding AI agent initiatives. Technical curiosity welcome; no coding or hands-on development required.

Prerequisites: A general understanding of software development is helpful but not required — the session is designed to be consumable by generalist and non-technical leaders. No laptop, setup, or technical environment needed; all hands-on work is done on paper, in groups.

Format: Highly interactive. No death-by-slides. Two live demonstrations (watch-only), audience-driven Q&A, and a group governance workshop. Attendees leave with an authored artifact.

Building Software with Securely Autonomous Agent Teams: The Engineering Deep Dive

Go under the hood of a real autonomous agent operation. This hands-on technical session moves past “agents write code” into the system that makes agentic engineering trustworthy at scale: a three-tier loop that plans work, orchestrates a parallel build across a fleet of terminal agents, and verifies the result on two axes — with a senior engineer deliberately holding the two checkpoints a model shouldn’t hold alone yet. You’ll work in a purpose-built demo repository that mirrors how the First Recon AI team builds, and leave having run a live multi-agent handoff and review yourself.

Intro: The First Recon AI team has built SaaS and AI applications for the world’s largest enterprises since January 2020, as early adopters of every generation of agentic coding tools. This session shows the real practices behind their 24/7 agent fleet: why they run multiple models and tools against the same work, how a desktop orchestrator authors instructions and parallelization plans for terminal agents, and — candidly — exactly where a human stays in the loop and why. Pro-AI, not naive.

Target audience: Software Engineers, Engineering Leads, DevOps, Platform & Security Engineers, Technical Architects. Comfort with git, pull requests, and the command line assumed.

Prerequisites: Working knowledge of software development, git, and the PR workflow required. A laptop with pre-work setup completed (guide will be sent in advance) strongly recommended for the hands-on segments; live-clone fallback available. No prior agentic-tooling experience assumed.

Format: Hands-on technical session with live demonstration on a real-shaped repository. Roughly half talk-and-demo, half hands-on.

Hvornår: 3. September kl. 13.00-16.00
Hvor: Østbanegade 135, 2100 København Ø (hos Conscia)
Speakers: Kim Stroh, Co-Founder & CTO og David Muczynski, Co-Founder & VP, Engineering First
