Managed services are becoming a business imperative
As AI deepens our dependence on technology, managed services can help organisations navigate complexity and build the secure, resilient digital infrastructure they need for what comes next.
AI is changing what organisations can do with technology. But at the same time it is making something increasingly clear: the more we depend on technology, the more important the infrastructure behind that technology becomes.
Digital infrastructure for many organisations is already fundamental to how they operate and that dependency will only deepen as AI becomes embedded in more processes and services.
At the same time, the environment that IT teams are being asked to manage is becoming more complex. Cyber threats continue to evolve. Regulatory responsibilities are growing. Specialist expertise is difficult to maintain across every technology and discipline. And businesses, quite rightly, expect their critical infrastructure to be available, secure and performing when they need it.
I believe this is fundamentally changing the conversation around managed services.

EVP Nordics & MD, Conscia Denmark
For years, managed services have been discussed primarily in terms of efficiency: which activities should an organisation manage itself and which should it entrust to a specialist partner?
Although still relevant, that question it is no longer the whole story.
Increasingly, the vital question is how organisations get access to the expertise, scale and continuous attention required to operate increasingly complex technology environments, while allowing their own people to focus on the areas where they create the most value.
This is where managed services have a much larger role to play.
Bringing infrastructure management, security expertise and ongoing operational support together can help organisations manage complexity and respond to change. And the strongest managed-services relationships should go beyond simply operating technology. A partner needs to understand what matters to the organisation, work closely with its people and help create the secure and resilient foundation it needs to move forward.
That is also how we think about managed services at Conscia. Our ambition is not simply to manage more technology on behalf of our clients. It is to bring specialist expertise closer to them and help them keep their digital infrastructure secure, resilient and ready for what is next.
Recognition of the direction we are taking
Against that backdrop, I am very pleased that Conscia has been awarded two Cisco Partner Summit Awards for 2026: Global Managed Services Partner of the Year and EMEA Mass Scale Infrastructure Partner of the Year.
The recognition matters to us because it reflects capabilities that are becoming increasingly important to our clients.
But ultimately, awards are not the objective. What matters is what those capabilities allow us to do for our clients: helping them manage growing technological complexity, strengthen their digital foundations and create the confidence to take advantage of what comes next.
That is where we will continue to invest.
