Conscia’s climate targets validated by SBTi

Conscia’s climate targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), independently confirming that they are aligned with climate science.

Conscia Group commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 from a 2025 base year. Conscia Group also commits to reduce absolute Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 21% within the same timeframe. Additionally, Conscia Group commits to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across all scopes by 2045.

Scope 1 and 2 cover emissions from our own operations and the energy we use. Scope 3 covers emissions across our value chain, including suppliers and the products and services we buy.

Over the past two years, we have improved our emissions data, found where most of our emissions come from, linked our environmental priorities to our business strategy, and made climate work a shared responsibility across functions and countries.

We are starting with practical measures that reduce emissions and keep our business resilient. They include how we design networks and run data centres, how we work with suppliers, and how we develop our software and services. For our clients, it means a partner that is transparent about its climate impact and works to reduce the footprint of the networks, data centres and services we provide.

Having our climate targets validated by SBTi is an important step for Conscia, but the real work is delivering against them. We now have a clear, science-based direction for reducing our emissions, and our focus is on turning these commitments into practical action across our business.

The SBTi process also pushed us to strengthen our methods, data and assumptions. That scrutiny matters. Validation is an important milestone, but it is ultimately the delivery against these targets that will determine our progress.
